Can anyone use the Incubator?


Only approved users are able to use the facility.  The process of becoming an approved user requires approval from our Tenant Selction Review Committee.



What is a Business Incubator?


According to the National Business Incubation Association (NBIA), a business incubator is a business support program that accelerates the successful development of start-up and fledgling companies by providing entrepreneurs with an array of targeted resources and services.


Who owns the Incubator?

The Stony Brook University Incubator at Calverton is owned and operated by Stony Brook University.  It was conceived as an economic engine to enhance Eastern Long Island's agricultural, aquacultural and environmental industries.


How do I get Started?

To get started, complete the Entrepreneur application in the "How to Join" section.  Then schedule a tour of the facility by contacting us.
